Lyric Theater's Big Fish and Billy Elliot
As the final chapter to this summer's wild theater ride, Jimmy is assiting Michael Baron on his beautiful staging of Andrew Lippa's "Big Fish" at Lyric Theater of Oklahoma. One of Lippa's most touching stories, this father and son tale stars Broadway's Emily Skinner and David Elder as Sandra and Leo Bloom. Their performances are some of the most memorable and tear jerking moments seen onstage in quite a while. Stunning set design by Adam Koch, Lighting by Helena Kukka, Costumes by Jeffrey Meek.
Also coming to the Lyric stage is the Broadway dance extravaganza Billy Elliot. Jimmy is excited to lace up his tap shoes (after several years, so don't get your hopes up) and join the company on stage as ... wait for it ... Posh Dad.
