"Young Playwrights for Change" Staged Readings
ZACH Theatre is a regional host site for a national competition called the Young Playwrights for Change. This competition is for middle school students to write plays about a social justice topic. This year’s competition’s theme is What do you want to change about the world? They received over 140 plays from local middle school students, and asked Jimmy to direct a selection called "Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon." The experience was incredibly light hearted and fun, and also highlighted social issues that are important to today's emerging playwrights!
